During this half of the show, Tim Hughes talks with Russel from SkyCall. Lynn Zubeck, a biologist from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources calls in to talk about geese in Utah and Gunnison Bend Reservoir. They then talk with Bob Grove from Maverik Adventure Getaway, Lance Syrett from Ruby's Inn and the organizer of WinterFest DiAnna Moore about the Utah WinterFest and photography, yoga and other activities offered. The crew talked to Craig Gordon from the Utah Avalanche Center and Connie Marshall from Alta Ski Resort about snowing and skiing in Utah.

They talk with Bob Grove from Maverik Adventure Getaways and Lance Syrett from Ruby's Inn about Utah's precipitation, outdoor tours in Utah, Winter Festifal and Bryce Canyon. Tim talks to Roger Eggett from Bear River Lodge about shared cabin ownership in Utah as well as snowmobiling and four-wheeling. Navi then calls in for FishBytes and the crew talks about becoming a KSL Smile Maker for Primary Children's Hospital. They also talk about river fishing in Utah.

Tim also talks to Brad Hunt from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources about the elk population at Hardware Ranch. He also talks to Billy Fenimore from the Wild About Birds Nature Center about Eagle Day and Craig Gordon from the Utah Avalanche Center. Lastly he talks to Jessica Miller, the Senior Communications Specialist at Park City, about special events and deals happening at Park City to help you ski for cheap at Park City.

Tim Hughes hangs out with his friend Navi today. They take calls about Bears Ears and the companies protesting the Outdoor Retailer. So far several businesses including Patagonia, Peak Designs, Polartec and Arc’teryx.are protesting the Outdoor Retailer Expo. Tim also talks to Miles Moretti from the Deer Mule Foundation about the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. During Fishbytes they talk about the rising water levels as well as Navi's winter, river fishing classes.

They discuss deer antler gathering in Utah as well as Bald Eagle Day. Tim also talks to Craig Gordon from the Avalanche Center. He also spoke to Bob Salerno who recently entered the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.

California has seen a drought ease because of all the moisture. Northern Utah and southern Idaho have seen several feet of snow. The guys talk about all the fun you can have outdoors and the avalanche danger in Utah's outback. There is a deer feeding program in Garden City this year. Places like Bear Valley have seen it the most and so this is only place in the state where DWR is worried about the animals. You won't want to miss out on Burbot Fish contest in Flaming Gorge for cash and prizes.

We talk about the impact of the Obama Administration's move on the locals who live and work nearby as well as on the state of Utah. Anglers are excited to start the ice fishing season on area lakes and reservoirs. And with fresh powder on the way to the mountains, this week's Ski Report is a great way to close out 2016.
